The Academy has been using training credit-modular system of educational process organization and improving the system of graduates’ certification since 2005.
The comprehensive training system with exercise equipment machine “Online Version of Medical Examination Skills Training System” was gained. It is aimed at developing practical skills in the internal diseases clinic. Only our Academy has special training class “Surgical and video-laparoscopic technologies in medicine" in Ukraine.
Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy has been included in the register of higher educational establishments of Ukraine. It has the IV level status of higher educational establishments. The Academy provides the single continuous training of specialists at three levels: pre-University, University and Post-graduate.
The Pre-University training level includes the Preparation Courses and the Preliminary Department for foreign citizens.
The University training level contains 7 Faculties: three “Medicine”, Dentistry, two International and the Faculty of Postgraduate Education. Specialists’ training is conducted on 7 specialties: "Medicine", "Pediatrics", "Preventive Medicine", "Dentistry", "Pharmacy"(full-time courses), as well as "Clinical Pharmacy" (full-time and correspondence forms of training).
Since 2016 Master Pregraduate Course in the «Health care» sphere has been carring out in «Medicine», «Dentistry» and «Pharmacy» specialties.
Postgraduate education is realized at the Internship - on 30 specialties, at Clinical Residency – on 37 specialties, at the Master Department - on 29 specialties, at Postgraduate Department - on 29 specialties, for training, retraining and Doctors Advanced Training - on 36 specialties.
Annually, the Academy Faculty creates educational materials together with other higher medical (pharmaceutical) Ukrainian establishments for providing of educational process, methodological support and improving the quality of students training. These materials (Ukrainian, English, Russian languages) have got the classification of the Health Ministry of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education of Ukraine. 31 textbooks, 7 national, 72 educational and training manuals, and 11 – English ones were created last three years.
The Academy independent education quality monitoring group introduced the system of improving the final module control of fundamental disciplines in 2014.
The Academy introduced the curriculum in 2015. It was created according to the European credit transferred-funded system for the purpose of providing, recognition, confirmation of qualifications and educational components and the promotion of applicants’ academic mobility.
